Functional Manual Therapy
Functional Manual Therapy is an integrated treatment system that couples mechanical treatment of joints, muscles, visceral, and neurovascular systems with manual techniques to enhance optimal function during sports related activities and activities of daily living. The Functional Manual Therapy® (FMT) philosophy and structured system of patient care is founded on the recognition that all tissues of the body are intricately interconnected and that efficient balance and movement requires a dynamic interaction between the mechanical, neuromuscular and motor control systems.

Blood Flow Restriction Therapy
|
Blood Flow Restriction Therapy allows you to exercise at a weight that is 20-30% of your one rep max (1RM) and get the same benefit as you would using a weight that is 70-85% of your 1RM. This is beneficial for patients that are post-op ACL reconstruction, Rotator Cuff Repair and for people suffering from Tendonitis in the upper or lower extremities. Currently, I am the only Health Care Practitioner certified in the Tahoe/Truckee area in the use of the Delphi System for Personalized Blood Flow Restriction Training (PBFR) through the Owens Recovery Institute.
