Meet Greg Booth, PT, OCS, CFMT
Greg Booth graduated from California State University Chico in 1985, with a B.A. in Physical Education. He then went on to Daemen College and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1991, with a degree in Physical Therapy.
Greg was hired by Neurosport Rehabilitation Associates in June of 1991, where he gained over 20 years of clinical experience by treating orthopedic, neurological, and sports injuries. In 2001, Greg accepted a management position at Neurosport where he supervised five physical therapists and continued to actively treat patients. Greg also coordinated continuing education classes at his clinic for other physical therapists. As a resident of the Truckee Tahoe community, Greg owns Sierra Nevada Physical Therapy, and volunteers his time providing athletic training services for the local high school football teams. Additionally, he teaches Manual Therapy techniques to other physical therapists through the Institute of Physical Art. |
Advanced SkillsGreg has advanced his skills with over 2,000 hours of continuing education classes. He has completed advanced course work in Visceral Mobilization through the Barral Institute and in Manual and Manipulative Therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). In 2004, he was certified by the Institute of Physical Art as a Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT). Greg was also recognized in 2006 as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) by the American Physical Therapy Association. As an instructor for the Institute of Physical Arts, Greg stays current in Functional Manual Therapy techniques, while collaborating with other Manual Therapists from around the country.
